This is a great activity to get Keystage 2 pupils ready for the new school year. it creates a sense of purpose and participation in making and adhering to school rules and goal. Goals and rules become more realistic and achievable when it is set by the children themselves. the teacher then becomes a guide to help the children achieve these goals and also a reminder when rules are broken
